Canonsburg

Canonsburg, a borough in Washington County, Pennsylvania, a mere 18 miles southwest of Pittsburgh, has a diverse and interesting history. Originally, laid out by Colonel John Canon in 1789, many of those involved in the 1794 Whiskey Rebellion were from Washington County/Canonsburg.
